Cactiballs are ball-shaped cactus monsters. They first appear in Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride, but most of their appearances are in the Dragon Quest Monsters series of games.
In Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime, Cactiballs have some stereotypical Mexican traits, mainly from the use of common Spanish words like "hola" and "amigo" and their act of shaking maracas.
