- —Yangus, Fortune Street
Yangus is a character from Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. He originates from a poor town named Pickham. Originally a bandit, he eventually tried to live cleanly, but turned back to his life of thievery until he was recruited into the Hero's party.
History[edit]
Itadaki Street DS[edit]
In Itadaki Street DS, Yangus is one of the eleven playable Dragon Quest series characters. His design is based on his child design from Dragon Quest: Shōnen Yangus to Fushigi no Dungeon rather than his adult design from Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.
Yangus' Hat and Yangus' Clothings are collectable items that can be equipped on customizable characters.
Fortune Street[edit]
In Fortune Street, Yangus returns as a playable character and, for the most part, retains his physical appearance from Itadaki Street DS. He has a rank of D, but Yangus makes better choices and moves than other characters within that rank.
